Reflection 1 HTML Basics

For this assignment, I learned about the essential components that make up a website. These include things like body tags, titles, headers, and paragraphs. We also learned how to link different sections of our websites together so that all of it is accesible from whatever page the user might be on.

Reflection 2: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I learned about the essential digital image essentials where there was review of important tools to utilize like file format, depth/color mode, changing image size, saving/exporting, etc. We also utilized tools like cropping, straightening, canvas size, layers, working with layer groups, and layer adjustments (like color, tone, vibrance, hue/saturation, color balance, and black/white.)

Reflection 3: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I learned about utlizing camera raw as well as the blur gallery tool. There are tools like temperature, tint, exposure, contrast, shadows, texture, clarity, saturation, vignette, and grain. The blur gallery tool also features five different options to choose from: field, iris, tilt, path, and spin.

Reflection 4: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I learned more about the tools in Photoshop, such as working with layer masks, making selections, and utilizing blending modes. Additionally, I learned that black is used to hide layers, while white is the visible layer. Blending tools assist in allowing different layers to interact with each other to create a well balanced final piece.

For this assignment, I utilized tools like the shape tool in order to create the hearts that were added into my photomontage, and later filled it in black as a form of symbolism. I also utilized the curvature and pen tools while creating the hearts. I also made use of the properties tool to align my objects throughout the image.

Reflection 6: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I learned how to group different parts of my eye design together, as well as how to edit the different parts individually even though the different sections were grouped together. I also learned more about color theory and how to use adobe color and import my color schemes to my Cloud for any other projects. I also got to practice more with using anchors and the direct selection tool.

For this assignment, I practiced using the pen tool further by tracing out the outlines of the shapes in my beach illustration, as well as layering them seperately. I also used Adobe color again for my triad color scheme, and tried making the image as realistic as possible given the guidelines. Some other important information from this week includes tools like: different types, transferring images from Photoshop to illustrator, masking/cropping, and creating and creating multiple artboards.

Reflection 8: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I utilized artboards to create different frames to create my blinking eye. I made use of the content aware tool to retouch images on a new layer, and also used object selection. For the GIF of my friend, I cut her out of the original image, and used the puppet warp tool and the different points to create the image of them rocking out and enjoying singing.

Reflection 9: LinkedIn Learning Essential Training

For this assignment, I utilized illustrator and tools like the Illustrator Graph Tools to create my pie chart, donut chart, column graph, and bar graph. I learned how to gather data and then transfer it to Illustrator. I used the direct selection tool a lot to be able to change the colors of different sections of my charts, and the gradient tool to give a more elevated touch. I also learned how to use compound path and clipping mask for making the donut chart.
